Professor Adel Reyad

Adel Reyad is the former Chief Consultant and Head of Pediatrics and Neonatology Department , Head of Pediatric Liver Transplant Unit and Head of Infection Control Unit at Wadi-El-Neel Hospital.
He obtained his medical degree with honor, subsequently his MSc and MD degrees in Pediatrics and Neonatology from Ain Shams University in Cairo, and Benha University, Egypt.
He has been practicing Neonatology for about forty years; establishing and designing many NICUs, selecting their equipment and training their neonatologists and nursing staff on the most updated highly scientific protocols and the most recent equipment.
He is an international member and certified Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor from AAP, as well as EPLS certified.
He is a founder and former board member of the Egyptian Society for Neonatal and Preterm Care (ESNPC), the first Neonatology Society in Egypt.
He is also a member of the Advisory Committee of the Egyptian Neonatal Guidelines.
Professor Reyad’s main area of interest in Pediatrics and Neonatology is CPD in Neonatology, Asthma, Vaccines, Nutrition, Infections and Antibiotics.
He is the President of MICAP (Mediterranean International Conference of Applied Pediatrics)
He is a speaker and member of Expert and Advisory Board of almost all major Multinational Pharmaceutical Companies e.g. GSK, MSD, ASTRA ZENECA, NESTLE WYETH, DANONE, PFIZER, SANOFI, ABBOTT, HIKMA and other Egyptian companies
He has been conducting many professional presentations and training sessions in Egypt and other Middle East, North Africa and European countries.
